Students in High School & College
For many in the RGV, their first job out of college is not their first job at all. Many students earn income through service positions, customer experience jobs, and logistical work to keep our cities moving. It is important to know that "work is work" and your past experiences make you a better job applicant.
We help students in all areas including:
- Building your first resume
- Building a LinkedIn profile
- Filling out a job application
- Practicing interview questions and answers
- Learning the tools to apply for jobs
Don’t go through the process alone, you can count on our experience and our network to provide sound advice and proven methods to land your first job out of school.
Return to Workforce
Looking for work is a full time job in itself. It is difficult to keep up with markets, changes in technology, and the newer skills that seem impossible to learn. The truth is that most businesses don’t expect to hire the person listed in the job description. Instead they look for learners and doers. We help those re-entering the workforce by bringing you up to speed on the kinds of work that may fit your experience, identifying your niche, and helping you broadcast your skills to people who want to hire you. We can help.
Everyone's needs are different, however we are ready to offer you the following options:
- Identifying fair salary expectations for work
- Developing a cover letter
- Helping you fill gaps in your resume
- Teaching you tools that companies expect you to use
