Why do I need to apply?
Cohort is an application based program. We supply you with important essay writing tools, study materials, exam prep, and a safe space to work with our counselors. At the current moment, RioProgress can't help every student due to our limited resources. This application process will help us find students who have high academics, great character, and are looking for the boost needed to attend the top universities in the world.
If you are also a student still looking to attend college through an athletic scholarship, music scholarship, or other special talents, we also work with you to navigate this processes as well.
What does it cost to participate?
Nothing. We want to make better futures, not money so this program will always be free.

How does cohort help me?

- SAT & ACT Exam Prep, Score Breakdowns, and hands on tutoring for retests.

- A parent network where parents can learn from other parents who's young adult has gone through the process and attended a 4 year school away from home.

Why do you need my household information?
We use the household information section to ensure that RioProgress remains in-line with our goals. We want to make sure that our services are going to help students of high need, while making sure we are helping as many students as we can.
When does cohort happen/meet?
College Cohort as a program will start officially on May 15th at the end of your Junior year of high-school. Based on the availability of accepted students, we will arrange for weekly sessions that will help you prepare for SATs, Essay Questions, College Interviews, and more. Typically, you can expect monthly workshops and larger group sessions prior to key deadlines.
